Beryl works in partnership with local councils, businesses, universities and charities to get our bikes and e-scooters where they’re needed most. We work closely with you to design schemes that work for your needs and your places.
There are lots of bike hire schemes out there, so why choose us? Let us tell you a bit more about Beryl…
A trusted partner
We’ve got a great track record of partnership working. Through close collaboration, we design and deliver tailored schemes that perfectly suit each location’s unique characteristics, like topography, layout, traffic, building use and demographics.
“Beryl have rapidly delivered Watford’s successful bike share scheme in a well-executed project, delivering significant impact in the first months with early indications of modal shift already visible in the data. I look forward to working closely with Beryl to continue to build upon this success as we move forward.”
Better bikes and bays
Designed from scratch to be safer, more comfortable and easier to use, our unisex bikes are unique to Beryl. Lightweight frames mean our bikes are easy to handle and fun to ride, while our patented Laserlight technology means they’re more visible and much safer too.
Super inclusive
Beryl offers a fully integrated range of different vehicles – bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters and cargo bikes. All our vehicles are easy to use by anyone 16 or older (to ride one of our e-scooters, users will need a full or provisional driving licence).
Designed in the UK
Our integrated app, bikes and bike bays are UK designed, with the needs and quirks of UK cyclists and locations in mind. Meanwhile, our UK-based team covers product and software design and urban design and planning, so we create systems and bays that visually and practically enhance their surroundings.
Data and metrics
Our onboard technology and performance dashboard put information at your fingertips, including total trips, average ride length and carbon saved. It means you can quantify, model and evidence the positive differences your bike hire scheme is making.

B Corp
As the first B Corp certified micromobility brand, we’re fanatical about doing the right thing, not just doing things right. We’re rigorously ethical and conscientious. From our in-house policies on wages, equality and supply chain relations to the total transparency of the way we do business.
Future-proof and flexible
Our progressive ‘hybrid’ approach means the best of both worlds. We create attractive, accessible Beryl bays for parking more than 90% of our bikes, keeping pavements clear and safe for everyone. Meanwhile, a small percentage of ‘free-floating’ bikes can be parked next to busy bays and then redistributed by our team, meaning maximum flexibility for users.
