Beryl BTN Bikes - More bikes, bigger zones, and flexible pricing

Good news Brighton, we are in the next phase of our Beryl BTN Bikes roll-out.

This means more bikes for you to choose from, larger riding zones and flexible pricing options. So whether you’re a visitor or a resident in Brighton, you can rely on Beryl BTN Bikes to get you to your destination with ease this summer and onwards.

When will more bikes be added?

From Friday 18th August, there will be 100 shiny new e-bikes available for you to hire. In addition to the increase of e-bikes, 50 pedal bikes will also be available to hire for the first time.

By autumn there will be over 400 e-bikes and 300 pedal bikes in Brighton, ensuring you’re never far from a Beryl BTN Bike to take you from A to B.

Will I be able to ride to more places?

We’ve got you covered, we are expanding the riding zone to provide access to more places of work and to take you to all your favourite spots. You can see the new zone on the map here.

How much will hiring a bike cost?

Sustainable commuters you can rejoice as Beryl will be launching a range of new  Riding Passes which offer discounted hire rates.

Grab yourself a Beryl Riding Pass and a typical 23 minute journey by pedal bike using the new 30 day pass offer could cost less than £1. Cheaper than a cone of chips on Brighton seafront.

Any more changes to look out for?

It’s more good news for the reduction of local carbon emissions. Look out for our electric cargo bikes which will be zipping about the city, helping the redistribution and servicing of our bikes.
